So if you dont know, just like an athelete, recording artists sign contracts for a certain amount of years, or projects over the span of years, usually 4 or 5). Rapper Game, is looking forward to cashing out after this, his fourth album, the R.E.D. Album, (which I heard, was largely produced by Pharell Williams) and may sign with Birdman and Cash Money. I think that may be a good match…………Wayne and Game,,,both “Bloods”, both chart topping artists, both look like murals. Look forward to (if this happens) a hell of a lot of mixtapes from that free agent acquisition.

Jeff Allen Sun-Times Feature

Theres a kid that would hoover over me as I at 6’2″, would try and go toe-to-toe with this 6’5″ 300+ ogre named Jeffrey Allen. Slightly off-beat, I felt intimidated because at first there was only one guy in school (King high school) that was as large or larger as me, (Miles Stroter); but now I had to deal with a second larger than life figure.

Jeff Allen, now a true senior at U of I, University of Illinois, (where I was gonna go before I found art school) , has blossomed into a run blocking, pass blocking, pancaking, Fighting Illini phenomenon. This past week, I noticed an article on the first page of the Chicago Sun-Times, and saw my old block away neighbor, in an action pose in uniform. I was proud, knowing that the hood has produced yet another machine that hasnt been consumed by distraction or negative rigor. Jeff’s on his way so pay attention.
